Michael Körner is Junior Investment Manager at TGFS and MBG Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen mbH

After training as an industrial mechanic at the BMW Group’s Leipzig plant, Michael Körner worked as a specialist for systems in body construction and completed further training as a mechanical engineering technician (IHK) at the same time. This was followed by a degree in mechanical engineering at the HTWK Leipzig, which he supplemented with internships in start-up control at BMW. During this time, he gained valuable experience in the areas of process optimization and project-related work.

From 2020, he was part of a start-up that focused on the development of electrified off-road vehicles. To further develop his entrepreneurial skills, he completed a Master’s degree in General Management with a focus on entrepreneurship from 2022 to 2024. At the same time, he gained practical experience in start-up consulting at the HTWK.

Michael Körner has been a working student at MBG since August 2023 and has been a permanent member of the Industrial Tech team since completing his studies in April 2024. With his broad technical background and start-up experience, he has the ideal qualifications to successfully support innovative projects.
