Die holl\u00e4ndisch-belgische Fagron-Guppe hat heute bekanntgegeben, im Zuge ihrer Wachstumsstrategie die Mehrheit an der HiperScan GmbH, ein Portfoliounternehmen des TGFS Technologiegr\u00fcnderfonds Sachsen, zu \u00fcbernehmen.<\/p>\n

Fagron ist Marktf\u00fchrer f\u00fcr pharmazeutische Rezepturen und versorgt Kliniken, Apotheken, \u00c4rzte und Patienten weltweit in \u00fcber 35 L\u00e4ndern mit einer Auswahl an 2.500 pharmazeutischen Rohstoffen. Das Unternehmen agiert als b\u00f6rsennotierte, multinationale Unternehmensgruppe. Der rechtliche Sitz befindet sich in Waregem, Belgien, der Hauptsitz ist Rotterdam, Niederlande. Mit rund 2.800 Mitarbeitern z\u00e4hlt das Unternehmen zu den weltweit f\u00fchrenden Anbietern personalisierter Medizin.<\/p>\n

Die HiperScan GmbH wurde 2006 als Spin-off des Fraunhofer-Instituts f\u00fcr Photonische Mikrosysteme (IPMS) Dresden gegr\u00fcndet und besch\u00e4ftigt aktuell 51 Mitarbeiter. Auf Basis der im Fraunhofer-Institut entwickelten Mikrospiegeltechnologie konnte ein hochleistungsf\u00e4higes und zugleich preisg\u00fcnstiges Nahinfrarot (NIR)-Spektrometer entwickelt werden, welches f\u00fcr unterschiedliche Anwendungsbereiche einsetzbar ist. Mit einem Fokus auf Identit\u00e4tspr\u00fcfungen bei Rezepturausgangsstoffen konnte sich HiperScan in den letzten Jahren zum Marktf\u00fchrer von Laborspektrometern f\u00fcr Apotheken im deutschsprachigen Raum entwickeln.<\/p>\n

Der TGFS hat die Unternehmensentwicklung seit Sommer 2010 aktiv begleitet. Dem Team um Dr. Alexander Wolter und Michael Thoma ist es seitdem gelungen, mehr als 3.000 Apotheken von den Vorteilen des NIR-Spektrometers zu \u00fcberzeugen. Das wiederum hat Fagron dazu bewogen, das Angebotsspektrum um die von HiperScan erfolgreich kommerzialisierte Technologie zu erweitern und mit eigenen Vertriebsaktivit\u00e4ten weltweit Kunden anzubieten. Dazu Dr. Wolter, Gr\u00fcnder der HiperScan: \u201eMit der Technologie von Fraunhofer IPMS und der Unterst\u00fctzung des TGFS haben wir ein innovatives Unternehmen aufgebaut, das die Apotheker in Deutschland lieben. Mit Fagron im R\u00fccken bekommen wir den optimalen Zugang zu internationalen M\u00e4rkten. F\u00fcr den TGFS, der seit 2008 in aktuell zweiter Fondsgeneration \u00fcber 80 Gr\u00fcnder und Start-ups im Freistaat Sachsen begleitet hat, ist es bereits der zweite Exit im Jahr 2022.
