Johnson Electric wird strategischer Gesellschafter bei Pendix<\/h1>\n

Nachdem der Antriebshersteller Pendix GmbH<\/a> Anfang des Jahres den Kauf des Unternehmens VSC Bike GmbH abgeschlossen hat, gibt es nun eine weitere spannende Neuerung in der Gesellschafterstruktur. Johnson Electric hat eine Mehrheitsbeteiligung am Unternehmen erworben und wird Pendix zum weiteren Wachstum verhelfen.<\/p>\n

Die Pendix GmbH wurde 2013 gegr\u00fcndet. Im selben Jahr stieg der TGFS Technologiegr\u00fcnderfonds Sachsen als Seed-Investor in das Unternehmen ein. In der Folge wurde das Unternehmen von vier Finanzinvestoren unterst\u00fctzt und konnte sich so zu einer festen Gr\u00f6\u00dfe auf dem Fahrradmarkt entwickeln. Deren Anteile wurden nun von Johnson Electric erworben.<\/p>\n

\u201eMit der Mehrheitsbeteiligung an Pendix m\u00f6chten wir den Zugang zum E-Bike-Markt schaffen. Dabei war uns wichtig, dass wir in ein Unternehmen investieren, welches Know-how f\u00fcr den Markt und f\u00fcr E-Bike-Antriebstechnologien mitbringt\u201c, sagt Andrea Straniero, Division Vice President IPG Europe von Johnson Electric. Und weiter: \u201eWir sind begeistert, dass Pendix und Johnson Electric auch kulturell zueinander passen. Gemeinsam sehen wir ein gro\u00dfes Potenzial, nachhaltige Antriebsl\u00f6sungen f\u00fcr Fahrradhersteller zu entwickeln und auch in Zukunft anzubieten.“<\/p>\n

Gemeinsam werden Pendix und Johnson Electric einen neuen, integrierten Mittelmotor f\u00fcr Fahrradhersteller entwickeln, der 2025 auf den Markt kommen wird. Auch der Lastenfahrradbereich unter der Marke VSC.BIKE soll weiter ausgebaut werden.<\/p>\n
