Das Leipziger Startup SaxonQ entwickelt und produziert mobile, industrietaugliche Quantencomputer \u2013 weg von den bisherigen raumf\u00fcllenden Anlagen und hin zur handlichen, flexiblen Einheit. SaxonQ wurde mit der Vision gegr\u00fcndet, Quantencomputing aus der Forschung in industrielle Anwendungen zu \u00fcberf\u00fchren und so den Zugang zu leistungsf\u00e4higer Quantenhardware und \u2011Software in Europa nachhaltig zu erleichtern. Entscheidend daf\u00fcr ist ein aus der Halbleitertechnologie bew\u00e4hrtes Verfahren. Damit werden die Qubits, die Recheneinheiten des Quantencomputers, auf einem wenige Millimeter kleinen Diamant-Chip erzeugt. Diese Prozessoren kommen im Gegensatz zu bisherigen Quantenrechnern ohne K\u00fchlung und komplexe Infrastruktur aus und sind unempfindlich gegen St\u00f6rungen. Das System wird bereits von Gro\u00dfkunden genutzt und zielt auf v\u00f6llig neue Anwendungen von Quantencomputern, etwa in der K\u00fcnstlichen Intelligenz, beim autonomen Fahren oder in einigen Jahren sogar im Smartphone.<\/p>\n

SaxonQ wurde mit der Vision gegr\u00fcndet, Quantencomputing aus der Forschung in industrielle Anwendungen zu \u00fcberf\u00fchren und so den Zugang zu leistungsf\u00e4higer Quantenhardware und \u2011Software in Europa nachhaltig zu erleichtern. Entscheidend daf\u00fcr ist ein aus der Halbleitertechnologie bew\u00e4hrtes Verfahren. Damit werden die Qubits, die Recheneinheiten des Quantencomputers, auf einem wenige Millimeter kleinen Diamant-Chip erzeugt. Diese Prozessoren kommen im Gegensatz zu bisherigen Quantenrechnern ohne K\u00fchlung und komplexe Infrastruktur aus und sind unempfindlich gegen St\u00f6rungen.
