3dvisionlabs GmbH is a spin-off from the TU Chemnitz. The start-up has developed „HemiStereo“, a camera technology, that in combination with artificial intelligence offers extensive possibilities for capturing movements. 3D information of the observed area can be calculated and evaluated in real time within the device. By means of this technology, innovative and practice-oriented solutions are made possible, e.g. for the control of driverless transport systems or in industrial automation.

Der TGFS ist seit 2019 am Unternehmen beteiligt. Weitere Investoren sind HTGF, Occident, Novalis Biotech, bm‑t, Saxonia Systems und TUDAG.
