The software Edgar is a cloud solution for rapid planning and evaluation of sustainable energy systems. The development focuses on the use of mathematical algorithms and simulation for optimal decision-making, already in early planning phases. For this purpose, numerous technical, economic and environmental parameters and data are simultaneously considered for each calculation and calculated and compared according to user-defined objectives. Based on this platform, the FI is developing perfect fit use cases for users from the energy, housing, and hydrogen sectors to objectively decide complex problems in their day-to-day business.
