Fusion Bionic GmbH
The deep-tech company Fusion Bionic GmbH is a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Material and Beam Technology IWS. They develop and distribute systems for the production of biomimetic surfaces using patented laser technologies for micro texturing. The use of the technology can significantly improve the functionality and performance of surfaces. Thus, after functionalization, the surfaces possess characteristics such as self-cleaning, de-icing, reduced friction or improved contact performance, depending on customer requirements. Fusion Bionic’s solutions are up to 100 times faster than established methods and can be used effectively in a wide range of industries including aerospace, automotive, medical, consumer products and energy.
TGFS has been a shareholder in Fusion Bionic GmbH GmbH since 2021.
