New potential for glass products through speed chemical strengthening

ReViSalt specializes in the chemical strengthening and strengthening of glass in salt baths. Under the name SaltClean, ReViSalt develops and commercializes application-specific regeneration materials for salt baths. The materials have neither a corrosive nor a toxic effect and extend the time of use of a salt bath. In addition, ReViSalt licenses a new process that significantly accelerates chemical strengthening. Taken together, the technologies represent a new stage of development in chemical strengthening. Consulting services related to the process and to salt bath analysis support glass manufacturers and finishing companies in optimizing their existing production or setting up new production facilities. ReViSalt is a spin-off of the Institute for Glass and Glass Technology at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg and was founded in 2021.

TGFS has been a shareholder in the company since June 2023.
