Saralon GmbH

Saralon GmbH is a spin-off from TU Chemnitz. The start-up develops, produces, and sells functional inks and printed electronic applications for the packaging industry. The packaging industry and print shops can significantly expand their product portfolios without having to purchase new machines, thus offering high added value to manufacturers of branded products or goods at risk of counterfeiting without long lead times.

The TGFS has held a stake in the company since 2016. The specialty chemicals group ALTANA participated as part of a follow-up financing in 2022.
