Ian Biedermann is Junior Investment Manager at TGFS and MBG Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen mbH

After earning his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Dresden University of Technology, he went on to complete a master’s degree in industrial engineering at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences to specifically expand his knowledge of business-related topics and gain in-depth experience with innovation, startups, and venture capital. At the same time, he gained his first practical experience in the startup ecosystem in early 2024 as a working student at futureSAX. There, he helped organize investor and pitch events and facilitated networking between startups and investors.

After working for six months as a student intern at TGFS in Leipzig, Ian Biedermann joined the MBG Sachsen team in Dresden as a junior investment manager in early 2026. In addition to his work, he is developing his own app projects at the intersection of entrepreneurship and venture capital.
