Martin Liebsch is a team leader and investment manager at TGFS and MBG Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen mbH

Before joining MBG Sachsen through his bachelor’s thesis on turnaround investments, Martin Liebsch worked in private and corporate banking at SEB, Santander Bank, Commerzbank AG and Deutsche Bank AG.

He has been working as an investment manager for MBG Sachsen and TGFS since 2016. In this role, he is responsible for identifying and supporting technology-intensive portfolio companies. He has been leading the start-up team at MBG Sachsen since 2026.

Martin Liebsch completed a master’s degree in management at the Technical University of Chemnitz and specialized at the TU Munich School of Management to become a Certified Private Equity Analyst (CPEA).
