Cinector closes seed round to revolutionise virtual presentations in companies

Virtual communication startup Cinector GmbHcloses a €2.5 million seed round to meet global demand for high-quality virtual presentations in sales, corporate communications and education. 

The technology takes the power of a Hollywood studio to the office, creating a virtual stage for outstanding live meetings and videos. This innovation consists of fully customisable virtual communication spaces that make presentations as tangible as a face-to-face meeting. At the same time, Cinector can be operated by one person. This makes the creation of video presentations, virtual showrooms and keynote events as easy as a PowerPoint presentation. The technology uses the existing video infrastructure of Microsoft, Zoom, Google and Cisco. 

Lutz Röllig, CEO of Cinector, said: „We are pleased to announce our seed round of 2.5 million euros. This will allow us to adequately respond to high customer demand, drive product development and invest in new markets.“ He continues, „The availability of video communication has led to a massive demand from companies who want to create engaging yet easy-to-create virtual presentations in their office. Cinector is the only technology on the market that meets the needs of businesses for visual quality, flexibility of use and cost effectiveness. 

Cinector’s technology is based on the founding team’s experience in developing visual special effects for blockbuster films. This combines people and virtual 3D worlds. The Saxony-based start-up is also investing in its research and development department „Cinector Labs“, which integrates AI capabilities into the product to provide its customers with the best quality and features on the market. The seed round of € 2.5 million was led by TGFS Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen, based in Leipzig. TGFS is an early-stage VC fund with a 15-year history of focusing on high-tech start-ups with strong growth potential.
