Portfolio news: eCovery closes second financing round and completes portfolio in the field of digital health

TGFS portfolio company eCovery GmbH from Leizig, a provider of digital health products, has closed another funding round. Insurtech fund 1750 ventures, adesso subsidiary adesso ventures and other business angels have placed their trust in this start-up founded in 2019, and are investing a significant seven-digit amount forfurther growth and expansion of its technology. On top, eCovery completesits range of services in the area of preventive health measures: OPT — Online Physiotherapie GmbH will become part of the company and will operate under this joint umbrella in the future. 

eCovery GmbH from Leipzig develops digital health offers for prevention and therapy of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. As a „physiotherapist for your pocket“, the company enables all patients to do safe and medically sound therapy exercises at home and accompanies them anytime and anywhere during their recovery and prevention. The services offered by eCovery are thus the ideal complement to traditional treatment at the local physiotherapist’s office or are also available as a purely digital care solution. In addition to Dr Alexander Georgi, the founding team of eCovery GmbH includes the two managing directors Benedict Rehbein and Marcus Rehwald, online expert Raphael Ibele and a team of 15 other experts on the topics of eHealth and digitalisation in the health industry. 

The TGFS has accompanied the company since 2020.
