Flaxres GmbH has developed a unique recovery technology that enables full recycling of photovoltaic modules. The innovative process combines separation of different glass types and valuable metals with economic efficiency and responsible environmental protection. In a dry process, the components of the photovoltaic modules are separated by highly intensive light pulses with low energy input, layer by layer, and returned to the production cycle without detours.

TGFS became a shareholder in the company in 2018 and thus enabled the initial financing of the company. As part of a larger financing round in 2019, the TGFS sold its shares again to a new lead investor from the environmental technology sector.
