Oliver Latz is team lead at TGFS and MBG Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen mbH.

While still a student, Oliver Latz gained valuable experience at the start-up Fair Observer and on a research project at Tesla. He then worked in international finance at the renowned American investment bank State Street. After that, he joined KPMG, first as an audit manager in the Audit Financial Services department and then in the Deal Advisory Valuation department, where he supported companies on both the buy and sell sides in M&A transactions.

Since 2022, he has been working at MBG Sachsen, where he heads the Life Science Investments division and contributes his extensive experience and expertise to the financing of innovative start-ups and young technology companies.

Oliver Latz completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in technology and management-oriented business administration at the Technical University of Munich. During his master’s studies, he specialized in corporate finance and product engineering. He also completed a specialization as a Certified Private Equity Analyst (CPEA, TUM/BVK).
