TGFS is increasing its investment in we-do.ai GmbH from Leipzig as part of a follow-up financing. TGFS has already been supporting the start-up specialising in chatbots as a financing partner since 2018. With a seven-digit amount, TGFS underlines its commitment to the voice chatbot foodcall.

With foodcall is creating a comprehensive software solution for the catering restaurant industry: from taking orders by phone via transmission to the kitchen to integration into the POS system. foodcall is ready for use 24/7, can make several phone calls at the same time and can also forward customer enquiries to the restaurant. The voice conversational AI chatbot is characterised by fluid conversation, recognizses voice variations and answers enquiries about the order status. Thanks to the holistic approach of foodcall, incorrect orders can also be avoided. With this support, the restaurant can focus on preparing, serving, and delivering food, thus relieving the team.

The market launch of foodcall already took place at the beginning of 2022. The CEO and founder, Dr. Sebastian Hecker, sums up: „The response to the voice conversational AI chatbot within the industry is very positive despite the current difficult situation for restaurateurs. foodcall is an easy-to-understand product and the added values can quickly convince“. Finally, the voice chatbot relieves the restaurants in times of a shortage of skilled workers. In the coming months, the further roll-out is to be driven forward. For this, Dr. Hecker is also striving for partnerships with system gastronomy chains and additional cash register system manufacturers.

With the voice chatbot foodcall, however, the we-do.ai team focuses on a specific situation and creates a very exciting communication channel here with a lot of expertise and subtlety,“ explains Sören Schuster, Managing Director of TGFS, and adds: „We are already looking forward to the application in Leipzig and specially to accompanying the we-do.ai team in its further growth.“ TGFS has accompanied over 100 start-ups in the Free State of Saxony since 2008 and invests in early phases, as in the case of we-do.ai.
