Packwise is one of the six most innovative companies in eastern Germany

Eastern Germany has changed a lot over the past 30 years and has produced many good ideas. In order to make this development visible and to honour it, the VORSPRUNG business award, the prize of the East German Business Forum OWF, was presented today at the Federal Chancellery to outstanding business personalities. The award winners include both traditional companies that have managed to be internationally successful through constant further development and young companies that have established themselves as market leaders in a short time. We are very pleased that our portfolio company Packwise GmbH from Dresden is among the award winners.

Carsten Schneider, Minister of State and Federal Government Commissioner for Eastern Germany and patron of the VORSPRUNG business award: „The East is booming! And not only thanks to new major investments, but above all thanks to the great creative will of many different companies from the eastern German states. Eastern Germany is a region of the future. And entrepreneurship and innovation are the key to a successful transformation of the economy. For the east to continue to develop positively economically, a forward-looking structural and industrial policy is needed. That is the goal of my work as Commissioner for Eastern Germany. The companies that have been awarded the VORSPRUNG business prize are shining examples of precisely that head start that the East German economy already has in many areas and that we — together with the companies — want to further expand. I congratulate all award winners on this award and look forward to the exchange with you.“ 

Packwise is a b2b startup founded in 2017 that enables companies to digitise their supply chains. As a leader in Industrial IoT and liquid container tracking in the process industry, Packwise currently works with over 40 industrial customers.
