SmartNanotubes Technologies GmbH

SmartNanotubes Technologies GmbH, a spin-off from TU Dresden, has spent the last few years conducting intensive research into the structuring and production of single-walled carbon nanotubes, which can be applied to chips as sensor carriers and thus also replace silicon in the long term. The first marketable product is the Smell Inspector, a gas and odor sensor, which is much more powerful and efficient than comparable products and can also be used for domestic purposes. 

TGFS has been a shareholder in the company together with market-experienced business angels, the Life Science Incubator Saxony and TU Dresden Aktiengesellschaft since 2020. In addition, the strategic investor duotec GmbH and Cottonwood Technology Fund III are now on board.
