TGFSdate in Leipzig on the occasion of the launch of the third generation of funds
TGFS
09 Juni 2023
Fresh equity — currently over M€ 83 in the first closing — for Saxon start-ups: TGFS launched its third generation of funds at the beginning of the year. Since its first launch in 2008, more than 100 start-ups have been supported.
To mark the occasion, we invited our network to Leipzig for TGFSdate. We say a big thank you to:
- State Secretary Thomas Kralinski from the Saxon State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Transport (SMWA) for his welcoming speech on this evening. The Free State of Saxony recognized the importance of VC at an early stage and co-initiated and invested in the first TGFS in 2008, including with ERDF funding. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Free State of Saxony and our other Investors — the Sparkassenfinanzgruppe and MBG Sachsen — for their confidence in us. In addition, we are delighted about the current discussions — among others with the SAB — regarding an engagement in the TGFS of the third generation.
- Economic mayor Clemens Schülke as representative of the city of Leipzig, who also welcomed our guests in a greeting.
- Business Angel Thomas Schmidt for his key note and review of his eventful and successful career.
- Our wonderful guests this evening from business, politics and science. Thank you for coming. Thank you for working together in Saxony!
